Location: San Diego, California, United States (Hybrid)

The Software Engineer will be a key participant in many steps along the product development pathway, including software design, implementation, and unit testing.

• Develop and deliver robust and safe embedded software for medical devices, from the concept phase through design, implementation, unit testing and integration, to manufacturing and post-launch support.
• Collaborate with engineers in mechanical, electrical, software, verification, and other fields to build innovative solutions and ensure requirements and specifications are met.

• Education
  • BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related engineering field 
• Experience
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience
  • C programming for embedded systems
  • Ability in understanding electrical schematics
  • Small Device, Battery Operated, Wireless experience
  • A proven track record developing embedded software as an engineering professional or as a hobbyist
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are required
